Grief counselling and support when you need it most.

Grief is a natural response to the loss of a loved one, and is a different experience for every individual. At Australian Pensioner Funerals, we have supported thousands of families in their time of grief, and understand that it is an extremely difficult time.

As such, we advise our client families to seek support if needed, and recommend the following specialist organisations, which provide caring support, grief counselling and information for individuals experiencing grief and loss.

Phone Counselling Services

BeyondBlue - BeyondBlue is a national not-for-profit mental health organisation, which offers many services. One of their services is a free phone hotline, which offers anonymous counselling support and referrals to in-person assistance.

Griefline - GriefLine is Australia's dedicated grief helpline service, which provides grief counselling support services free of charge to individuals and families.

Lifeline - LifeLine are a free, one-on-one phone counselling service who specialise in crisis support and suicide prevention. They are experts in suicide bereavement and can provide grief counselling services for this time.
